Share Savings

*Share accounts with balances less than $300.00 will be charged a $3.00 monthly maintenance fee if:

  1. You are over age 21, and
  2. You have been an ISU Credit Union member for one year, and
  3. You have no other account relationship under your primary account number. (Other account relationships include: Share Draft, Christmas Club, Money Market, Share Certificate, IRA, any loan type, credit card, or authorized ISU Credit Union insurance policies)

** Replacement cards are $10.00.



Christmas Club

  • No minimum balance required
  • Dividends are calculated daily and compounded quarterly on balances of $50 or more
  • Statements mailed quarterly; monthly when member has any electronic access during the month
  • Balance automatically transferred to share draft or share account on first business day of October each year and account remains open
  • Restrictive access - $5.00 fee for withdrawals made between January 1st and September 30th.


Kids Club

  • For children ages 12 and under
  • $5 minimum balance required in Share (Savings) account
  • No monthly service fees
  • Statements mailed quarterly
  • Encourages good savings habits
  • Fun-filled activity packet included with membership
  • Chances to win prizes in Kids Club contests
  • Invitations to special Kids Club events



IRAs

  • Regular Share IRAs and Certificate IRAs available
  • Regular Share IRAs include Traditional, Roth, and Coverdell Education Savings
  • No minimum opening deposit required on Regular Share IRAs
  • $500 minimum opening deposit required on Certificate IRAs
  • Dividends calculated daily and compounded quarterly


Money Market

  • No minimum balance required
  • Tiered rates
  • Dividends are calculated daily and compounded monthly on balances of $2500 or more
  • No minimum withdrawal amount
  • Limit six (6) electronic withdrawals per month (see our Rate and Fee Schedule for more details)
  • Statements mailed quarterly; monthly when member has any electronic access during the month


Share Certificates

  • $500 minimum opening deposit required
  • $250 minimum opening deposit required for ages 21 and under
  • 12 months through 5 year terms available
  • Dividends for certificates with terms of 12 months are calculated daily and compounded quarterly
  • Dividends for certificates with terms greater than 12 months are calculated daily and compounded quarterly with the option of monthly interest payments
